Gorgeous natural build in the forest above the lake. Great amenities for a remote location. Can walk or take affordable local transport (boat or tuk-tuk) to any of the surrounding lake towns. Restaurants within walking distance. Safe neighborhood for a female solo traveler.

I loved Ana’s place so much! It felt like a hidden oasis. She answered any and all questions I had. The staff was so sweet and so helpful. I would love to stay there again when I go back to Lake Atitlan!

Beautiful home to be in touch with nature. Beautiful scenic views of the mountains. Location is private in a quiet town, with not much things to do, perfect for those who want quietness. Take note that theres a large amount of rocky steps before entering the home, however staff and helpers are available to help with luggage. Since the home is in the middle of nature, there are many bugs, but are harmless. Would recommend to shop for food before entering town, or communicate with the staff to set up cooking services a few days before. Host and staff were extremely helpful with accommodating us and connecting us to a personal boat driver, where we were able to visit the other towns. Instructions were clear and communication was great! Overall enjoyed my peaceful stay at the Seed.

Staying at The Seed was a lovely retreat for us, with some tranquility and solitude in an otherwise busy vacation and tour of Lake Atitlan. It was just what we needed mid-trip to relax and settle into a slower pace. We grabbed some banana bread and fresh tortillas from the bakery in town, and avocados and eggs to make breakfast at home, and really loved having the space to do so. We enjoyed doing yoga on the rooftop (of the main house) with a view of the lake, and wandering the gardens. It's a beautiful property. I especially loved having the cute cat around who made a home on the patio for the couple of days we were there. The design of this studio was simply amazing, and we definitely could've stayed longer.

It was absolute perfection. Beautiful plants and flowers everywhere accompanied by enchanting birdsongs. Casa Violeta was amazing. The flowers hanging from the front porch offered great opportunities for hummingbird watching. This was the best place to stay for a quiet, intimate, and relaxing stay. I plan on booking another stay soon.

We absolutely loved our stay, the space is even better than the pictures. We embraced the critters and they didn’t bother us. . We fell in love with Nena, the resident dog. I’m surprised no one mentioned the amazing stream right next to our place that provided such lovely peaceful running water sounds. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Really awesome spot. Very peaceful and with a beautiful garden. Relaxing stay with great amenities and not far from awesome food and ecstatic dance. The water filter they had was very slow (maybe a liter filtered over 10 hrs), so we had to boil water to stay hydrated and healthy, but otherwise awesome!

Our stay at the seed was so beautiful and peaceful. The views were unreal, everything was clean, the staff were the absolute best and always attentive to whatever we needed. Also loved that they came every day to clean. Do be mindful that there is a pretty strenuous climb to get to the Airbnb so I would not recommend for anyone with health issues. However everything went very smoothly and we felt safe the entire time. The town is more local vs touristy which was nice and easy to get a tuktuk or boat to wherever you want to go.

The Casa Violeta is beautiful and secluded, located on the grounds of a gated jungle garden in a small village on Lake Atitlan with access to a terrace with beautiful views of the lake and volcanoes. The town is small and things close early, so buy your supplies in a bigger town like Panajachel. It's a quick ten minute walk to the docks to catch a boat anywhere else on the lake. The staff are helpful and friendly and made our stay lovely. There's a nice yoga studio across the street and a handful of nice restaurants in town, but you should pick this location for peace and quiet, not nightlife.

The Seed House is in the most beautiful location and the roof terrace is out of this world! Ana and her local team are all fabulous and I would whole heartedly recommend this location
